From the bylaws for managers as I remember, 2024.
It is the responsibility / right of the Managers to build their own team roster. Suggestions can be offered about possible players. But the team Manager has the final say.
Manager needs to contact Senior Softball in Sacramento to set up the team roster and confirm that all players are eligible with player id cards. Current and past managers will assist a new manager with the endeavour if asked. Jerry Diemel has also been willing to help in the past.
$100.00 per player fee per season or a $125.00 + sponsorship from a business (Current Managers & Board members have fees waived.) Jerry Diemel has also been willing to help in the past if players aren't able to afford the fee.
For single event players, the formula is to divide the number of players participating into the tournament entry fee and the single player pays that amount. Example ($350/13 = $26.92)
75% of roster players must be from Wisconsin, unless waved by Board.
Request a 13-player commitment for attending tournaments.
The Manager is responsible for getting and returning player jerseys (owned by the Oshkosh Ambassadors) and player (team) fees.
Jerry Diemel and Gary Herring are responsible for distributing Jerseys and Hats to the managers.
Managers should do all financial transactions through treasurer 😀i.e. tournament fess and team registrations.
There may be more that I'm not aware of. It has been not formalized with the Ambassador organization for a long time. 😃
